Descrption

Level of studies and experience required:

• At least a Diploma in Agriculture or related filed, degree in Agriculture or related field will be an advantage
• A minimum of 2 years in agricultural extension or community based development programmes.
• Practical experience in conservation agriculture; low input gardens livestock management
• Experience in working with a multi-disciplinary team will be an advantage;

Key Attributes:

• Good technical knowledge on agricultural systems in the semi-arid regions of Zimbabwe; 
• Ability to follow economic and social context of opera¬tional area;
• Good communication skills;
• Good pedagogical skills;
• Good command of English and Shona, oral and written.
• Computer literacy;
• Possession of a Class 3 driver's licence.
