We are recruiting on behalf of the nation’s leading retail chain for the Wholesale SBU.

WaterNet is a regional network for capacity building in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in Eastern and Southern Africa, with a membership of 75 University Departments and Research Institutions in fifteen countries. WaterNet has five objectives: To forge a strong, demand driven and sustainable network of universities and research institutions in Southern Africa in the field of IWRM. To deliver and strengthen the jointly-owned regional Masters degree programme in IWRM To develop and deliver demand-driven training and education for practicing water sector professionals in Southern Africa. To stimulate, regionalise and strengthen research in the field of IWRM in Southern Africa. To raise awareness and understanding of IWRM and its implementation at local, national and trans-boundary scales. WaterNet facilitates a number of projects to build capacity of professionals, to conduct water-related research, train and educate practising water sector professionals in Eastern and Southern Africa. WaterNet wishes to recruit a full-time Financial Accountant, reporting to the WaterNet Executive Director. who will provide financial accounting and reporting on WaterNet finances as well as administrative assistance to the WaterNet Executive Director.

To provide technical expertise to the shift teams, in order to optimize the process and performance measures for a utilities process area.

The WASH Project Manager is the key point of responsibility for implementation of the Rural WASH project. S/he is responsible or planning, implementation, personnel management, resource management, monitoring and evaluation, associated stakeholder and partner relationship management, timely and quality reporting. S/he plays a role in design and development of complementary or new funding proposals. S/he ensures quality If her/his project activities/results including as necessary coordinating external technical support/expertise. The project manager will directly supervise four Assistant Project Managers lased in the four districts of implementation (Masvingo, Gutu, 'aka and Mberengwa). S/he will have technical background in VASH and oversight of the relationship with the respective district and provincial stakeholders. Position Code: WSH-PM 13

Stationed in the respective district the WASH Project Field Assistant (WASH PFA) will report directly to the Assistant Project Manager (APM) at district level. S/he will be responsible for promoting community demand for sanitation with no subsidy. S/He will also be responsible for community engagement, mobilization, ODF triggering and monitoring and facilitate community participatory planning processes. The WASH PFA will also facilitate borehole rehabilitation and delivering Community Based Management training at community level. S/he will be responsible for effective implementation of project deliverables as well as collection of community level information and data in line with the project implementation plan. Background: The mandate of the Ministry of Energy and Power Development is to avail enough energy and power to all sectors of the Zimbabwean economy The energy supplies should be provided safely, reliably, affordably and sustainably. In the National Energy Policy (NEP), the availability of accurate and reliable data is identified as one of the key issues to the development of the energy sector. Energy data/statistics is critical in energy planning and policy formulation as it is the input into the determination of future energy demand and supply balances. This data is collected from different sources comprising government ministries and agencies, private organisations, Parastatals and consumers. The scope of data ranges from energy resources, transformation and production to consumption. These varied sources of data should be processed, well managed and provide useful information to policy and decision makers. An Energy Information System (EIS) is a systematic way of compiling and processing energy data and information. Hence, an EIS is the bedrock for integrated energy planning and energy policy analysis. Purpose: To develop software based National Energy Information System for compiling, updating, organising and processing energy data and information.
