Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following positions:

1.0  SCHOOL OF INDUSTRIAL, SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY

1.1 PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

1.1.1 Lectureship/Senior Lectureship/ Associate Professorship/ Professorship (8 Posts)

 

Post A: Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis (1 Post)

Applications should have a minimum of a Master's and/or PhD degree in analystical Chemistry or Instrumental Analysis or Phamarccutical Analysis. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Spectroscopy, Pharmaceutical Analysis and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

 

Post B: Pharmaceutical Technology (2 Posts)

Applicants should have a Master's and/or PhD degree in Biochemistry or Organic Chemistry or Biotechnology. The Successful candidate will be expected to teach
Pharmaceutical Formulation Technology, Pharmaceutical Industrial Process, Pharmacy Practice, Public Health and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

 

Post C: Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry (1 Post)

Applicants should have a Master's and / or PhD degree in Biochemistry or Organic Chemistry or Biotechnology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach
Biochemistry. Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and post graduate courses.

 

Post D: Pharmaceutical Chemistry (1 Post)

Applicants should have a Master's and/or PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Pharmaceutical Chemistry,
Medicinal Chemistry and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

 

Post E: Pharmaceutics (1 Post)

Applicants should have a Master's and/or PhD degree in Pharmaceutics or Pharmacotherapy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Pharmacotherapy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Pharmaceutics, Pharmacotherapy, Bio-pharmaceutics, Pharmaco-kinetics and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

 

Post F: Biomedical Sciences (1 Post)

Applicants should have a Master's and/or PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Biomedical
Sciences, Pharmaco-genetics, Gene Therapy and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

 

Post G: Pharmacology (1 Post)

Applicants should have a Master's and/or PhD degree in Pharmacology or equivalent. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Pharmacology,
Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacy, OTCDrugs and a wide variety of other related undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

 

1.2 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, RENEWABLE ENERGY AND CLIMATE CHANGE RESEARCH CENTRE

1.2.1 Lectureship/Senior Lectureship/ Associate Professorship/ Professorship


Post A: Environmental Management Unit (1 Post)

Applicants should have a B.Tech (Hons) Degree in Environmental Science and Technology or Environmental Engineering or equivalent and an M.Tech Degree in
Natural Resources Management or equivalent. A PhD would be an added advantage. The candidate must be experienced in environmental consultancy especially
Environmental Impact Assessments, published at least one environmental research paper and knowledgeable in new degree programmes formulation and implementation with at least 3 years of experience in the field of university lecturing and consultancy.

 

Post B: Renewable Energy Unit (1 Post)

Applicants should have a B.Tech (Hons) Degree in Environmental Science and Technology or Environmental Engineering or equivalent and an M.Tech Degree in
Renewable Energy or equivalent. A PhD would be an added advantage. The candidate must be experienced in environmental consultancy especially Environmental Impact Assessments, published at least one environmental research paper and knowledgeable in new degree programmes formulation and implementation with at
least 3 years of experience in the field of university lecturing and consultancy.

 

Post C: Climate Change and Adaptation Unit (1 Post)

Applicants should have a B.Tech(Hons) Degree in Environmental Science and Technology or Environmental Engineering or equivalent and an M.Tech Degree in
Climate Change and Adaptation of Meteorology or equivalent. A PhD would be an added advantage. The candidate must be experienced in environmental consultancy especially Environmental impact Assessments, published at least one environmental research paper and knowledgeable in new degree programmes
formulation and implementation with at least 3 years of experience in the filed of university lecturing and consultancy.

1.3.1 Teaching Assistant (1 Post)

Applicants should have a B.Tech in Chemical and Process Systems Engineering or equivalent with preferable a 2.1 classification or better. The successful
applicant will assist in the conducting of lecture tutorials.

 

2.0 SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

2.1 ELECTRONIC COMMERCE DEPARTMENT

2.1.1 Teaching Assistants (2 Posts)

Applicants must have a minimum of a B.Tech(Hons)Degree in E-Commerce or equivalent with at least a 2.1 degree degree classification and having a strong
E-Commerce programming background. The successful applicant will be expected to assist in teaching, tutorials and practicals in courses including but not
limited to Java for E-Commerce, E-Commerce Website Engineering, Internet Programming, Multimedia and computer Graphics and E-Commerce Security.
