Addressing Gender Disparity and Fostering Equity in University Education




Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions which have arisen at Women's University in Africa.

 

Faculty Of Management And Entrepreneurial Development Studies & I.T.


Lecturers: Banking and Finance Courses x 2

 

  • Lecturing and developing new methods of lecturing in Accounting and Finance courses .
  • Generating and revising course outlines for Accounting and Finance courses
  • Preparing and presenting students' performances in academic meetings
  • Maintaining and evaluating students' performances records throughout their programme of study
  • Carrying out research
  • Supervising students' research projects
  • Organising Faculty contribution to community services.



Qualifications and Requirements

  • MSc degree in Accounting and Finance/MBA.
  • A relevant PhD qualification or studying towards one would be an added advantage
  • University teaching experience
  • Be of mature disposition



Faculty of Social Sciences and Gender Development Studies

Lecturers: Development Studies (at Masters level) x2

Gender Studies     x1

 

  • Lecturing and developing new methods of lecturing in the above courses .
  • Generating and revising course outlines for Development and Gender courses .
  • Preparing and presenting students' performances in academic meetings .
  • Maintaining and evaluating students' performances records throughout their programme of study .
  • Carrying out research .
  • Supervising students' research projects .
  • Organising Faculty contribution to community services.



Qualifications and Requirements

  • Msc degree in Sociology, Development and Gender Studies. A relevant PhD qualification or studying towards one would be an added advantage
  • University teaching experience
  • Be of mature disposition
