Job Summary

To provide support to all facets of the organisation through quality and efficient contract management, recruitment of staff, performance management ensuring that there is industrial harmony by interpreting and implementing the Code of Conduct, HR Manual and the Labour Act to staff.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attract, deploy and retain high calibre staff for long term and short term assignments,
  • Establish and maintain effective and efficient employee contract management system,
  • Establish and maintain harmonious employee relations climate,
  • Built and maintain a culture of performance and accountability.
  • To educate and ensure that employees are compliant with Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate and implement staff wellbeing initiatives,
  • Handling disciplinary and labour cases
  • Maintain an HR Management Information system.
  • Co-ordinate employee training and development
  • Provide day to day HR support to management and staff.

Requirements

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A Human Resources or Social Science Degree.
  • IPMZ Diploma is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Human Resources field.
  • In depth labour and employee relations management.
  • Appreciation of any payroll system.
